Clemson Art Club
I joined the Clemson Art Club my sophomore year. Since becoming a member I have attended many workshops where members got to work on their own creations, participate in theme nights, and work with new materials. I was inspired to join after discovering art studio courses were restricted to visual arts majors. Making art has always been a big part of my life and Clemson Art Club has allowed me to be creative and make new friends.
I started volunteering with Girls on the Run through the my former sorority. As I learned more and more about the organization, I became more impassioned about their mission to instill confidence in young girls through running. I grew up playing sports and they helped me to develop my self-esteem and self love. This organization is working to create strong and confident young women and I am proud to work with them.
